Canal Boat Blacking Service at Shipley

At Gallows Bridge we offer a first class blacking service.

We can lift your boat with our on site crane and clean your hull with our high pressure jet wash before applying 2 coats of black bitumen paint. We also have a grit blasting machine if required.

While your boat is out of the water it is an ideal time to inspect the hull. We have a full range of facilities should you require further work, including welding, anodes and stern gear work.

We can also offer DIY facilities for boat owners who wish to carry out this work themselves.

Gallows Bridge is a family run business, working hard to provide services to canal boat owners and users.

We are located on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal between Apperley Bridge and Bingley at Shipley.
